Eastgate Surgery is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2030 for Scopes 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions in line with NHS England and UK Government targets.
This commitment was approved by the Practice Partners on 01/04/2025
We are actively working to reduce our carbon footprint through measures such as:
- Reducing energy consumption across our premises
- Minimising paper use through digital transformation (e.g. electronic prescriptions, remote consultations)
- Promoting sustainable travel for staff and patients
- Implementing responsible waste management and recycling practices
We will continue to measure, monitor, and report our carbon reduction progress over time.
